Beloved Kids Yoga Educator and Musician Bari Koral Brings YOGAPALOOZA to Midland Center’s Outdoor Stage
When it comes to battling stress and anxiety, Bari Koral has discovered powerful tools through yoga and mindfulness to teach families all around the globe. A beloved children’s recording artist and internationally recognized kids yogi, Bari Koral teaches tens of thousands of parents, children and teachers each and every day through her music – and she is bringing an interactive concert to the outdoor stage at Midland Center for the Arts on June 11.Bari Koral and her band will take audiences on a music and movement adventure that combines artistic songs, yoga poses and dance breaks for people of all ages!
“As we continue to offer thoughtful, engaging and fun programs for families in our community, we are thrilled to welcome leading experts and entertainers like Bari Koral to the Great Lakes Bay Region,” said Katie Miller, Community Engagement Manager at Midland Center for the Arts. “Parents and caregivers may know Bari’s hit song 'Going On a Dragon Hunt,'” which has over 21 million views on YouTube. “At least 100 of those views belong to my household! My child knows every word and every yoga pose,” added Miller.
Koral’s hit yoga channel on YouTube has over 500,000 subscribers where children enjoy an imaginative mix of music and yoga, while promoting vital self-care resources to equip young minds.
A sought-after performer, Koral works to incorporate these practices into schools around the globe, having presented the benefits of yoga and mindfulness to over 100,000 teachers and counting.
Yogapalooza will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday June 11 and will be performed on the Outdoor Stage in front of Midland Center for the Arts with general admission seating and concessions available for purchase. Tickets cost $18 plus processing fee. Those who plan to participate in the fun yoga activities should bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket; Yoga mats will not be provided.
