Drew Moomey Appointed Director of Development at Midland Center for the Arts

Midland Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the appointment of Drew Moomey to the position of Director of Development. In this role, Mr. Moomey will be responsible for all fundraising activities, including overseeing the completion of the Center’s $47 million capital campaign; managing donor relations; establishing corporate partnerships; facilitating planned giving; and seeking foundation support for the organization.

“After a lengthy search, we are delighted to bring Drew on board at a crucial time for our organization," said Jon Loos, CEO of Midland Center for the Arts. "His enthusiasm for relationship-building and collaboration will be vital in leading our fundraising team and increasing support for the organization’s ongoing work to provide people with meaning and connection in their busy lives.”

Mr. Moomey brings a wealth of experience to this role, having recently held the position of Director of Chippewa Athletic Fund at Central Michigan University. His career includes positions with The Great Lakes Loons and Mid-Michigan College. A Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Service Administration graduate of CMU, he has deep roots in the region, and now lives in Isabella County with his wife and three children, spending time with them outdoors and at athletic events.

“I look forward to joining the incredible Midland Center for the Arts team,” noted Mr. Moomey. “I've gotten to know the executive team and staff, and I am eager to share and support the vision of the Center. I look forward to collaborating with the individuals and corporations that support the organization, and I am eager to develop the relationships that will help the Center continue to thrive and to better lives throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region.”
