The Iconic 90s Group The Dirty Knobs, Tickets on Sale Now

MIDLAND, Mich. – Iconic guitarist and songwriter Mike Campbell is joining his award-winning band The Dirty Knobs to perform at the Midland Center for the Arts Auditorium on Saturday, July 13 at 7:30 P.M.

Mike Campbell has co-written and co-produced for many legendary names such as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers – in addition to penning songs for Don Henley (“Boys of Summer”), Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks and playing on records by Aretha Franklin, Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash.

In 2018, Campbell joined Fleetwood Mac’s World Tour on lead guitar and in 2020, Campbell released Wreckless Abandon, the first album by The Dirty Knobs, a group that was Campbell longtime side project but is now his primary musical focus. Their sophomore LP External Combustion was released in 2022.

This group will perform songs off their first two records Wreckless Abandon (2020) and External Combustion (2022), as well as classics from his beloved previous band, Campbell will be joined by Heartbreakers drummer Steve Ferrone, guitarist/keyboardist Chris Holt and bassist Lance Morrison.

Campbell and The Dirty Knobbs new album Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits is out now. Featuring appearances from artists including Graham Nash, Lucinda Williams, Chris Stapleton and fellow Heartbreaker Benmont Tench. Campbell was also featured on Margo Price’s version of the Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers song “Ways To Be Wicked feat. Mike Campbell,” which released on June 7th. This track is part of the forthcoming tribute album Petty Country out on June 21st.
