The experience is accessible to those who are 8 years of age or older. All children must be accompanied by an adult walking through the experience. Children aged 8-15, will need a waiver signed by their parent/guardian before starting the experience. Children under the age of 8 will not be admitted, and the use of baby carriers is not permitted, as it is not recommended by the VR manufacturers.
The use of contact lenses is preferable to enjoy an optimal experience. Otherwise, the VR device will be placed over your eyes.
According to official documentation from Oculus, if you need to wear eyeglasses, it is recommended that glasses are 142mm or less wide and 50mm or less high. Anything larger will most likely have trouble fitting in the Quest 2 headset.

The Next Giant Step with Guest Lecturer Mike Murray, Delta College Planetarium / Come and be inspired about the future of space exploration and innovation in space technology. Engage in inquiry with us! What is the future of the space station? Why do we want to go back to the moon? What roles do space telescopes play in cosmic discovery?
About the Guest / Mike Murray is the Astronomer and Manager of the Delta College Planetarium in Bay City with over 40 years of experience in the planetarium and informal science education field, producing and directing programs for museums, science centers, the National Parks and NASA. Mike is an avid amateur astronomer with his own home-made 16-inch telescope which he uses for hands-on learning, education and public outreach. He also lectures on topics in astronomy and space exploration for astronomical societies, museums, STEM festivals, career days, and many libraries and civic organizations.

The number of satellites orbiting Earth is skyrocketing, driven by ambitious projects and growing demand for global internet access, Earth observation, and scientific research. This new space race is changing the face of the night sky, but what does it mean for us here on Earth? Join Aurelian Balan, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Delta College, for a fascinating presentation exploring the satellite boom, its impact on our planet, and the challenges and advances it presents.
This is a family friendly presentation with fun demonstrations, including spaced-themed snacks at the conclusion of the presentation. When scheduling, please note that The Infinite is for guests ages 8 and up.
