In this workshop, children will embark on a journey of discovering the true spirit of giving through storytelling, arts, and crafts. After storytime, students will create their very own gift to give someone they love.
When It Starts to Snow

Birds migrate south, frogs burrow in the mud - what do you do when it starts to snow? We will read When It Starts to Snow by Phillis Gershator, and after - we will create our own animal tracks in the “snow” and a snowy work of art to take home.
Groundhogs Day

Will Phil declare spring is on the way, or will there be six more weeks of winter? Prepare for groundhogs day as we read Groundhog Day by Gail Gibbons. Afterwards, we will create our very own groundhog puppets to take home!
Meet March

In this workshop, children will discover the traditions, legends, and culture celebrated on St. Patrick's Day. We will read the story Meet March by April Martin, and after that we will create our very own leprechaun craft to bring home!
Spring Flowers

Learn about different types of flowers in Michigan, the importance of nature conservation, and how to appreciate and care for the environment. Join us as we read Don’t Touch That Flower! by Alice Hemming and create a beautiful floral work of art!
Just a Worm

Worm isn’t “just a worm”, no matter what anyone says - worm is special! Set out on an adventure with Just a Worm by Marie Boyd and learn about all of the crawly critters in our gardens. Afterwards, make a bug habitat to take home and hang for your own garden!
