Ticketing Questions

We'd love to hear from you! Call 989.631.8250, send us an email or stop by during our Ticket Office hours.

Our modest per-ticket processing fee means that every ticket purchase helps support the arts in our region. Fees are charged the same no matter how you purchase: online, through the Ticket Office, or via phone.

Tickets are non-refundable.

Exchanges for another Midland Center performance are allowed up to 72 hours prior to a performance at a fee of $5 per exchange for non-subscribers (restrictions may apply). Fewer than 72 hours, no exchanges are allowed; Midland Center will issue a donation receipt for the value of the unused tickets.

Tickets can be upgraded. Simply give your tickets to the Ticket Office to be placed on an upgrade list. Upgrades occur in order of donation level, with higher-level donors being upgraded first. While we cannot guarantee an upgrade, we do the very best we can to fulfill requests.

There is no charge for the upgrade service; an additional fee will be due if your new seats are in a higher pricing tier.

Yes, there is no distinction between ticket availability through phone, web or in-person purchases.

Tickets are available for pick up during our Ticket Office hours and starting one hour prior to most performances. Look for the "Will Call" sign.

As long as you purchased your tickets through the Midland Center for the Arts Ticket Office we can help you! By verifying your address, we can reprint any tickets in question. They will be at the Ticket Office or the Will Call table.

Protect yourself from ticket fraud! midlandcenter.org is the only official ONLINE TICKETING PROVIDER for events at Midland Center for the Arts. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be stolen, counterfeit or invalid to the performance. We have received an uptick in counterfeit tickets and 'vendor spots' being sold or offered on third-party websites and social media. A Midland Center staff member will never ask for a third-party method of payment such as Cash App over social media.

Please allow at least 20 minutes to park your vehicle, walk to the building and be seated. Some performances will have congested parking; arriving a tad earlier will facilitate finding a parking spot. And of course, please use caution while driving through our parking lots and on nearby streets. Doors to performance spaces usually open 30 minutes prior to performance time for guests to take their seats.

Latecomers are held until an appropriate break in the performance; late seating policies vary by performance. We cannot guarantee late entry or offer refunds, so please make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to arrive, park, and walk to the building.

There is no dress code specified and you will see a wide range of attire in the audience! Business attire is probably standard, but some guests will use this as an opportunity to dress up for an evening out.

In consideration for the people around you who may have allergies please refrain from heavy perfumes & colognes.

We have both wheelchair accessible and no-step seating available in our theaters. When reserving your seats, please make any needs known to the ticketing agent. Since this area is frequently requested, it is strongly recommended that you purchase tickets in advance for best availability.

Please note that our theaters do not have elevators.

Children are welcome to attend most performances! However, everyone, regardless of age, and even if you expect the child to sit in an adult's lap, must have a ticket. Please use your discretion when determining whether or not a performance is suitable for your child. Questions about age suitability can be answered by our Ticket Office staff.

More and more, theatergoers are at risk of exploitation by unscrupulous ticket resellers. (NEED LINK TO THIS PDF)

Parking for Midland Center for the Arts is FREE and we have a large lot located in front of the building. Additional surface lots are located adjacent to our building, and across West Saint Andrews Rd. Midland Center shares these parking lots with Dow Gardens and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, so we advise arriving early to secure a spot if coming to a sold-out performance.

Except for registered service animals and animals required as part of performances or events, animals are not allowed in our facilities. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please contact Guest Services at guestservices@midlandcenter.org.
