Midland Center for the Arts Celebrates 50th Anniversary, Just as It Began

It was May 1, 1971 and the Midland Symphony Orchestra and Choirs of the Center were joined together for the dedication concert of Midland Center for the Arts featuring “Prelude to Die Meistersinger” by Richard Wagner, “Adagio for Strings” by Samuel Barber, and “The Promise of Living” by Aaron Copland. And 50 years later, to commemorate this dedication performance, Midland Center for the Arts will reflect on its history just as it began.

Midland Center for the Arts Announces $47 Million Transformational Renovation

Midland Center for the Arts in Midland, Mich. has announced a $47 Million transformational project that will reimagine the way art and science intersect in Michigan – a campaign they are calling, Center of Possibility. Having just commemorated its 50th Anniversary, the Center for the Arts celebrated its rich history as a regional destination for immersive exploration, historical research, artistic expression and scientific discovery.

Midland Center for the Arts Announces 2022-23 Season!

From dazzling Broadway musicals to symphonic masterworks, captivating artists and theatrical productions featuring members of our community, the next season at Midland Center for the Arts presents a vast array of possibilities for all people to enjoy. New subscription sales will begin May 31, 2022, with single tickets available for purchase at a later date.
